These Terms of Service apply to purchases from and use of the NIPPORA online store. By placing an order or using this store, you agree to these terms together with the policies linked from the store.
Products and availability
NIPPORA sources products in Japan. Many items are obtained after an order is placed. Product availability can change between the time a listing is viewed and the time we source it. If the exact listed item cannot be obtained, we will contact you before making any substitution or material change. We may cancel and refund an affected item if it cannot be sourced.
Product packaging, minor design details, or manufacturer packaging may change over time. We do not substitute a materially different product without contacting you.
Prices and payment
Prices shown in the store are the prices charged for the product at checkout, subject to any currency conversion or market display used by Shopify. Shipping charges, taxes, duties and other amounts shown at checkout are added as applicable. Orders are not accepted until payment is authorized and the order is confirmed.
Shipping
Orders are prepared and dispatched from Japan. Estimated preparation and delivery times are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by customs, carriers, weather, destination restrictions and peak periods.
Customs and import charges
Customers are responsible for complying with import rules applicable at the destination. Unless collected at checkout, import duties, customs charges and local taxes are the customer's responsibility.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Returns & Order Issues page explains cancellation, return and refund rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Product information
We aim to describe products accurately using information available from manufacturers and legitimate Japanese retail sources. Claims such as Japan exclusive, limited, or Made in Japan are used only where the exact product information supports them. Colors may vary slightly by display and photography.
Prohibited use
You may not use the store for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity, interfere with store security or operation, or submit false payment, identity or delivery information.
Store changes
We may update products, prices, availability, shipping destinations and these terms when reasonably necessary. Changes do not retroactively alter an order already accepted except where required by law or agreed with the customer.
